Well that was fairly simple. With the drivers seat out and the floor plate removed, the source of our water ingress was fairly easily spotted, especially when I shone a light from underneath.
A small hole in the seam underneath the drivers feet was the culprit. Plenty of mud to clear out before I can effect a repair.
Not to be outdone, Stefan's side was just as bad. This time the main culprit was a grommet that had come out.
That was easy enough to rectify but in the course of the job, I found a split in the floor which will need welding up. That will hopefully return the interior to a water free zone.
Richard has now received the road books and rally plates and has sent them on to me. In turn, Andrew & I are meeting up with Stefan, to hand over the bits that he needs and to plan for the
event.
The up to 1600cc cars are required to scrutineer before 3.00 pm on Thursday 21st, with a couple of stages in Radnor, to round off the day.
Here's a run down of whats to come.
