While we knew we were going to be tight for time getting Simon's C2 ready for the Cambrian, we are still waiting for the front suspension to arrive, although that should be here today or tomorrow, there are still a number of small problems to overcome, mostly wiring related around the new dash.
A call to the body shop to check the progress on Richard Phillipson's Honda, which was also scheduled to do the event, led to the very unwelcome news that the event is THIS weekend NOT next, as we had on all of our calendars.
How the mix up came about, I don't know, as both Richard & I, totally independently had the 27th as the date of the event.
The result is however that it looks like neither car will be there. Richard has commitments this weekend & the C2 looks unlikely to be complete.
I have offered Simon a run out in our MG but it will obviously not be the same.
I can only apologise to Simon for the almighty cock up.
