Having had a very pleasant couple of days on the ferry, it was time for us to get back on the move. We congregated in the lounge where the immigration officials who had come on board, were processing our passports "in order to speed things up" we were told.
With our passports duly stamped we made our way down to the car deck for our speedy passage through customs.
We had been told that they would take rubbing of our chassis & engine numbers & to make sure that they were easily accessible.
Ours was on top of the inner wing, easy to get at,not everyone took note. In their own good time 2 guys came around to do the business.
Then left the paperwork under the wiper blade & left us to it. It had taken us 45 minutes to get this far. It was to be another three & a quarter hours before we were finally let of the dock.
As the organisers had no idea of how long the formalities would take, it was a no Yellowbrick day, just a run down to the overnight stop at Ain Sokhna.
