The trials car has started to shed it's power steering belt again, a problem that we had got over seems to have reappeared following a bit of movement of the sump guard. The problem arises because the pump mounting is on the engine mounting bracket & not just on the engine, something that we may have to change to prevent the problem in the future.
One of the other problems, an ominous oil leak, turned out to be no more than a loose oil filter, so jubilee clip & lock wire should cure that.
We will also have to restore the gap between the sump & the guard before James goes out again. Anyone got a b***** great press??
