Wishing to get back to the warmth of Africa again, it was back to Barking, to start preparation on Gogi's Escort. As you can see, although primed, it still lacks that certain something.
Andy Tearle & I set about trying to get it looking more like a rally car.
The rear axle was ready to install, so that's where we started. First job was to clear some of the new paint from the bolt holes, so that we could actually get the bolts in.
The Proflex shocks had been rebuilt & were the first things to go on. Getting underneath the car, I was soon reminded of the fact that Sira Motors is a paint shop. Dazzled by the light.
Having found the sun glasses, I was able to fit the top & bottom links, before installing the axle.
With the axle in place, we turned our attention to the new fuel tank.
