Todays section in North Kenya was only some 250 km but the crews had all day to do it in and most were late, which gives some idea of how bad the road is. There were lots of breakages, particularly shock absorbers, and suspension and engine mount damage, and some cars finished the section on flatbeds!
Our boys broke a front shock, the bushes on the rear dampers were us and the battery was flat but they got there, and were 31st of the 42 cars still running.
