Derek Looker took his Peugeot 205 down to Bordon for the Farnborough & District M.C. AutoSolo.
Last time out Derek had found himself in a spot of bother with the gearing, so this time he opted for smaller wheels this time out. Using 175/50's on 13" wheels giving just the right gearing for 2nd gear with the shift light just coming on at the end of the longest straight.
At lunchtime Derek held a small lead in the class. Some tighter tests in the afternoon allowed the mini of Paul Prescott to sneak past & take the class win. As Derek apparently normally get close to Paul, it looks like we are making good progress.
Well done Derek.
