With the Coupe complete & the hiccup with Derek Lookers 205 behind us it has been a chance to crack on with the Peugeot 504 saloon that Richard & I are going to use on the London Cape Town Rally in January. The roof just needs a final coat , along with a couple of bits of the cage where we have caught it getting in & out. The floor didn't escape either. So while we waited for the paint to dry
it was off to the engine bay.
Remembering what it was like I hope our efforts will be a little better.
As we have decided to keep to the injection engine there should not be any major changes to make to the engine loom. The major work on that front will be sorting out the fuel supply, which in the past required climbing underneath the car to change tanks.
If things go well for us we are hoping to take the Saloon as well as the Coupe to the Pugfest at Prescott next month.
