As if not knowing where we are going wasn't bad enough & I do appreciate the problems facing the organising team, this latest little piece of news may throw a large monkey wrench into our plans.
After a year & some months of knowing the various class structures, we now get this change, with no prior warning. I might just get the Citroen C2 R2 ready because by the time we get round to going, it will probably be be eligible for the classics.
Now the question becomes a case of, do we stick with the 504 OR come 10 years newer with all the advantages that brings.
This structure does of course mean that the 205 Peugeot's entered immediately join the under 2 litre classics. It also means that a 16v 309 might be a nice choice.
