Practice Day

The 205s kick off on March 8th with a practise day at Blyton. We will publish more details when we have them but anyone who wants to come up & get taken out in one of the rally cars will be welcome. If you are intending to turn up we would appreciate an email so that we have an idea of how many to cater for.

Due to military demands the opening round has been moved from Fulbeck to Manby & has been brought forward to the Saturday ie 22nd March.

We still have one car available for the championship for anyone looking to start this series.

Safari Rally 2007

Advanced Plan or What

John Davies who used our 205 on the 2007 Lombard Revival will make a couple of appearances in our Enduro C2 before competing on the 2008 Revival. We are making a big effort to get the car on a par with the MG's which seem to be the car to have at the moment.

We have already had a couple of enquiries about parts & are hoping to produce a full parts list in the next few weeks. Anyone who may be interested in running or hiring a C2 should drop us an email & we will send out the list with prices asap.

A Little Progress

At long last the 750MC have made the regulations final & in their infinite wisdom the provisional changes have been ratified so no more Bilsteins or similar. Back to the drawing board for John at BAD for our shocks.

Meanwhile the engine is coming along nicely the head is just about ready, we just need to check our clearances with the control Kent cam, just to make sure the bits going up don't meet the bits going down.

I think Andy is looking forward to getting out in the car but seems to be a bit concerned about the Championship as his work commitments mean he will not be able to do all the rounds.

New Boy on the Block

Lucas Hunt will join Ti for the 2008 Championship running in the beginner category of the 1400 class. Lucas' only previous experience has been at rally schools. We are hoping to team him up with an experienced co-driver to help him along. Lucas has bought Barry Totties old car as Barry is still under doctors orders. The car has been re fettled following its great result on the Lombard Revival. We are testing in February when exams are over, Lucas being at university in Scotland.

Deals Available

Ti will be putting a lot of effort into this new 1400 championship running within the BTRDA rally series. Not only will be running Dominic Hodge & Stefan Arndt in our C2 car but are also looking for a couple of drivers to run in our 205s which should be very competitive within the series.

In order to make it as affordable as possible for newcomers to the sport we are offering a deposit & instalment plan for the season. Final figures for this will be posted in the next few days.

First round of the championship is at the end of March and we are planning a test day for all our drivers before then. Like all things the start will be on us before we know it so try not to leave it too late to join in.

South Downs Stages

Martin Head & Neil Billingham are at present the first Ti crew out in 2008 at Goodwood on Feb 2nd for the Towncross Engineering South Downs Stages Rally http://www.southdownsstages.co.uk/.

The following weekend will see Richard Phillipson & Brian Cammack out on the opening BTRDA/WAMC event the infamous Wyedean Rally www.wyedeanrally.co.uk . By then we hope supply willing to have the gear kit & plate diff fitted

Retaining the Title

Having been runners up & champions twice in the 4 years that the 1400s have been running we are very keen to carry on our winning ways. We have a car that is at the moment unassigned and have put up what we think is attempting offer for some one to join the team and try to make it 3 in a row for us. Details are at the bottom of our cars for hire page but unlike our normal hire deals this even includes entry fees. We have even let you spread the payments over 10 months so you don't have to hurt your life style too much. Because the championship concludes in November the offer is only open until the end of January so stop talking about it, put your money where your mouth is & give it a go. You never know you may even be 2008 Champion.
